Trial & Consultation
After hearing a little bit about you, your ideas for your big day and taking the time to understand your style, we’ll assist you in setting a date for your hair & makeup trial with your bridal party.
This trial & consultation is planned far in advance to give you plenty of time to get your bridal party together. It can take place in a location of your choice.
Your trial gives you the opportunity to try out a couple of different hair & makeup looks and allows our artists to see which products work best with your skin.
During your consultation, we’ll chat with you to find out all the things that you love & the things you don’t like. This helps us to put together a picture of what you will look like on your wedding day and ensures you and your team are on the same page for your final look.
We’ll create a bespoke style to suit you, from your skin tone and hair style, to your bridal accessories and wedding dress, through to considering the climate, weather and other factors that will influence your style on the day.
During your trial there will be plenty of opportunities to take photographs for you to look back on afterwards, which can put your mind at ease as your wedding day approaches.
Health and safety is key and each member of the team is trained in accordance with government guidelines.
Your Big Day
Before your wedding day, we will provide a schedule for your wedding morning in advance to help you visualise who will be getting hair and make up at what time and how your morning will run.
On the morning of your wedding, our team will arrive early to your chosen destination to set up and prepare.
Think of your stylist team like your very own personal assistant, here to make sure everything runs smoothly. We can help you with getting into your dress, placing your veil, top up your champagne, put on your favourite playlist and anything else that will help you to relax.
Our aim is to help you look and feel your very best and to bring a fun and calming atmosphere to your wedding morning. Your hair and makeup stylists will remain with you until you leave to walk down the aisle, providing last minute touch ups to keep you looking perfect.
Top Trial Tips
- Pinterest is a great way to create a wedding mood board. Add hair and makeup styles you love to a Pinterest board and bring it along to your trial.
- Bring photos of your dress, veil and flowers along with photos of your bridesmaid dresses and flowers. This will help us to visualise what your wedding day will look like
- Share details of how your wedding will unfold with your team. Will you be standing on top of a windy hill for a panoramic photo opportunity? Details like this can help with planning your hair style.
- Make it fun! Your trial & consultation is a chance to bond with your bridal party and stylist team which helps to establish a warm and friendly atmosphere when you all get together again on your wedding morning.
- Crack open the bubbles! Serving a few delicious nibbles and drinks will turn your trial into a fun gathering.

Aftercare Service
This is the ultimate luxury service where you can have your stylists on call throughout the day to keep you looking fresh and glowing all day long. In our Aftercare Service we stay with you and your bridal party until after your ceremony to ensure you look perfect for your night guests arriving. We can even change your style if required.
Glam Team
This is a wonderful gift to offer your guests. The Glam Team is a team of stylists who can be booked to style and look after your guests on the morning of your wedding or during your evening reception, keeping everyone looking flawless throughout the celebrations.
International Brides
We specialise in working with brides who live in another country that are travelling to Scotland to get married in one of the many beautiful locations and venues in our country. We offer a luxury styling service for brides who are getting married abroad and want to have our hair & makeup team style you for your special day.
